What Is EFT Tapping?
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), often called tapping, is one of the primary tools I use to help clients reduce chronic stress and create lasting change.
Using your fingertips, you gently tap on a series of acupressure points while focusing on a specific thought, emotion, belief, or experience.
The process helps calm the body's stress response while allowing difficult thoughts and emotions to be acknowledged rather than avoided.
Many clients tell me they notice a difference within minutes.
Not because they're forcing themselves to think differently—
but because their mind and body are finally working together instead of against one another.
Why I Use EFT
After practicing law for more than three decades, I wasn't looking for another stress management technique.
I was looking for something that created real, lasting change.
When I discovered EFT, I saw something different.
It didn't ask people to ignore their emotions or simply "think positive."
It gave them a practical way to work with stress at its source.
That's why EFT became one of the foundations of my work.
Not because it's a quick fix.
Because it helps create the conditions where lasting change becomes possible.
What EFT Can Help With
EFT may help reduce:
Chronic stress
Anxiety and overwhelm
Performance pressure
Self-doubt and limiting beliefs
Emotional reactivity
Difficulty sleeping
Fear of public speaking or litigation
Perfectionism
Burnout
Persistent negative self-talk
More than a technique
EFT is one of the most effective tools I use.
But a tool is only as powerful as the way it's used.
That's why I don't simply teach people how to tap.
I help them understand what they're tapping on.
Together, we identify the beliefs, patterns, and stories that have quietly shaped the way they think, respond, and move through the world.
EFT helps make that change possible.
Awareness creates the opportunity to choose something different.
Lasting change comes from combining awareness, nervous system regulation, practical tools, and intentional action.
That's the From Wired to Regulated Method.
Let's Talk
If you've read this far, you probably have questions.
The Discovery Conversation is an opportunity for us to meet, talk about what's bringing you here, and explore whether working together feels like the right next step.
If it does, wonderful.
If it doesn't, that's perfectly okay too.
Either way, you'll leave with a better understanding of your options.
30 minutes. No pressure. Just a conversation.
